Shannon Tan made history on Sunday when she became the first player from Singapore to win the Ladies European Tour's Order of Merit. Tan finished T-16 at the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España to edge England's Mimi Rhodes for the season-long title.
This week, 21-year-old Tan will return to the final stage of LPGA Qualifying in an attempt to secure her tour card.

Two years ago, Tan became the first player from Singapore to secure status on the LET. A three-time winner on the LET, Tan won her first professional title, the Singapore Ladies Masters, while still an amateur on the China LPGA. She has made four major championship starts, with her best finish, a T-40, coming earlier this year at the AIG Women's British Open in Wales.
Tan played collegiate golf at Texas Tech before turning professional in January 2024. At last year's Final Qualifying, Tan missed the 72-hole cut.
