The Houston Rockets have a lot of talented depth, and it's getting tested right now.

They're taking on the Phoenix Suns on Monday night, and it'll be a shorthanded crew on the floor for the Rockets.

When they released their injury report heading into the game, the Rockets had a half-dozen players unavailable.

Houston Rockets injury report

The Rockets have six players already listed as out about eight hours before tip-off in the NBA's official injury report.

Those six guys out are:

  • Kevin Durant (personal)

  • Tari Eason (right oblique strain)

  • Dorian Finney-Smith (left ankle surgery)

  • Kevon Harris (G League two-way)

  • Jae'Sean Tate (personal)

  • Fred VanVleet (right knee ACL repair)

Durant is expected to miss two games due to personal and family matters, this one against the Suns and then against the Golden State Warriors.

The Rockets also have Steven Adams listed as questionable with a right ankle injury. His status won't be decided until closer to the opening tip.
