Not only is he on pace to break Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt's co-record of 22.5 sacks in an NFL season, but he might surpass it before the final month of the season.
At 18 sacks following another monstrous day versus the Las Vegas Raiders, where he picked up another trio, he is far and away the favorite to be named best defender in the NFL. With six games left in the season and upcoming games against the likes of the Bengals and Titans, it's not a question of whether Garrett will smash the sack record, but whether he can put it at a number no one will touch in the 21st century.
To put it all into perspective, Myles Garrett, the single man on the Browns, has 18 sacks.
