Entering the loaded Players Era Festival tournament this week in Las Vegas, the Alabama Crimson Tide's ranking in the latest college basketball AP Poll Top 25 has been revealed.

Unveiled on Monday afternoon, Alabama has jumped three spots in the latest AP Poll, now sitting as the nation's No. 8 overall team. At No. 8, Alabama is now the highest ranked SEC team entering a loaded feast week slate across the sport.

This past week, Alabama played only once, which was an impressive 90-86 road win against the Illinois Fighting Illini in Chicago on Wednesday night. As a result, the Crimson Tide's record improved to 3-1 overall.

Alabama will return to action later tonight against the Gonzaga Bulldogs to begin play at the Players Era Festival. A game between Top 15 teams, tipoff is set for 9:30 p.m. ET on TNT, with the Bulldogs now ranked No. 12.

The Crimson Tide will also face unranked UNLV in Las Vegas on Tuesday, as well as an opponent either Wednesday or Thursday that is currently to be determined.
