The Bucs' offense looked rough without Baker Mayfield, and their grade reflects that.

The Bucs had a Week 12 to forget after they lost to the Rams in rather horrific fashion by a score of 34-7.

The Bucs lost Baker Mayfield to injury at the end of the first half, but the issues stem well beyond that. The defense looked all out of sorts in both coverage and in trying to stop the run. The team has looked lost for weeks, but the decision-making by Todd Bowles and the play of this team in recent weeks have created the disaster that has them down three games in a row.

That leads us to more analysis of the game as Bleacher Report's staff offered their grades for the games in Week 12. For the Bucs specifically, they named their offense as a loser after their performance against the tough Rams' defense.

They write, "The Buccaneers offense hit rock bottom in a loss to the Rams, a season-low seven points. Of course, Mayfield's injury factored into the lack of production, but he only completed nine of his 19 pass attempts for 41 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. Early in the second quarter, the Buccaneers fell into a 21-0 deficit and gave up a defensive touchdown on a pick-six. With a slow offensive start, Tampa Bay may have lost this game even with Mayfield healthy in the second half."

As they point out, the Bucs offense was doomed before the injury to Mayfield. However, with Bridgewater, we saw firsthand how much of a difference he makes in terms of explosiveness. If he were to miss time, this unit may see more loser labels in the weeks to come.
