Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Nyier Daniels faces over 10 criminal charges including multiple felonies after being arrested in Jackson County, Georgia. Daniels is a former four-star recruit from New Jersey. The 6-foot-8, 345-pound offensive lineman has appeared in four games during his Georgia career (all against non-Power Four opponents) including Georgia's recent win over Charlotte.
Daniels faces 13 total charges. Among the charges are three felonies, according to online records. Daniels faces two cruelty to children (second degree) felony charges along with one felony charge for fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. The remainder of Daniels' charges are 10 different traffic misdemeanors including reckless driving.

Georgia is aware of Daniels' arrest, but did not offer much insight into the legal matter and is still obtaining information regarding events that took place.
Georgia coach Kirby Smart and UGA indefinitely suspended wide receiver Nitro Tuggle and offensive lineman Marques Easley in the spring after both players were arrested for driving incidents. Both Tuggle and Easley ended up transferring to Purdue. Tuggle is Purdue's second-leading receiver this season.
Georgia offensive lineman Jahzare Jackson was also arrested over the summer. Jackson remains with Georgia's program and has appeared in 11 games this season.
