Duncanville (Texas) three-star cornerback Victor Lincoln decommitted from Arkansas on Monday, he told Rivals, becoming the latest defection for the Razorbacks in the midst of a disastrous season on the field and the recruiting trail.

The 6-foot, 160-pounder has been committed to Arkansas since June, when he chose them over Oklahoma State, SMU, Baylor and a host of other offers. But after head coach Sam Pittman was fired earlier this season, other schools began to push to get Lincoln in their class.

He was also previously committed to both SMU and Oklahoma State. Now a week before National Signing Day, he becomes one of the top available cornerbacks in the 2026 class.

Lincoln is the No. 695 overall prospect in the cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, an equally weighted average that utilizes all three major recruiting services. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 65 cornerback and the No. 92 recruit in the Lone Star State.

Rivals, however, is a bit higher on him than ESPN and 247. In the recently updated Rivals rankings, he was tabbed as the country’s No. 48 cornerback and a high three-star recruit with an 89 rating.

Both TCU and Ole Miss have been squarely in the mix for Lincoln since Pittman was fired, including the Rebels hosting him for a visit in Oxford earlier this month. The Horned Frogs, meanwhile, have gotten him on campus multiple times this fall, according to Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman.

Arkansas’ class continues to implode

Lincoln’s departure marks the 19th player to decommit from the Razorbacks this cycle. Six of those came prior to Pittman being let go, but more than a dozen others have now left the class.

Down to 13 commitments, Arkansas’ class ranks No. 66 nationally and No. 16 in the SEC, according to the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. With just over a week until National Signing Day, the Razorbacks are rumored to be announcing a head coaching hire soon. Whomever they hire will have to work quickly to rebuild a class that once featured a half-dozen blue-chip recruits.
