The most recent PGA Tour edition of the Skins Game aired in 2008, and featured K.J. Choi, Stephen Ames, Phil Mickelson, and Rocco Mediate battling it out at the Celebrity Course in Indian Wells, Calif. Now, 17 years later, a new crop of contenders is set to converge on Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., on Friday, November 28th, to resurrect what was once a Thanksgiving weekend mainstay.

The Skins Game format
Schauffele, Bradley, Fleetwood and Lowry will play in a single group. They’ll each have caddies and will be mic’ed up for the duration of the round. As with past editions of the Skins Game, banter and trash talk is encouraged. The vibe is expected to be loose, but let’s not forget, this is still a competition with plenty of money - and pride - at stake.
Each player will play his own ball. The lowest score on a hole wins a “skin,” which will have monetary value. If all four players are tied, that skin’s dollar amount carries over to the next hole. And so on. The player with the most money at the end of the round wins the Skins Game.

There is one notable differentiator from prior years in this year’s Skins Game: Instead of starting at $0, the players will start with $1 million each. Every hole is worth a fixed dollar amount, with the money carrying over if there’s a tie, so each player’s total will go up or down depending on their performance. This “reverse purse” is designed to create higher-stakes moments throughout the match.
How to watch the Skins Game
The Skins Game broadcast will begin at 9 a.m. ET on Amazon Prime Video, and will lead into Prime Video's Black Friday football game and an NBA doubleheader - making for a delightfully full day of post-turkey sports.
