Ravens' John Harbaugh provides some good news on Kyle Hamilton's injury

There aren't many safeties in the game who are better or even on par with Baltimore Ravens star Kyle Hamilton. The 14th player taken in the 2022 NFL Draft, his professional career began with a spot on the Pro Football Writers Association's All-Rookie Team. Then, he kept getting better.

Two Pro Bowl nods have followed. In 2023, he was named First-Team All-Pro. That was followed by a Second-Team All-Pro nod last season. What was up there? It appears the 'experts' need to get together and have a recount. That needs to be bumped up to a First-Team nod.

It seems the only thing that can slow down Hamilton is injury, as evidenced by what we've seen this season. He struggled with a groin injury from Weeks 5 through 8. He missed the most recent Wednesday Ravens practice with even more issues. Again, his groin troubled him. He also suffered from some shoulder discomfort. On Sunday, problems in both areas seemed to worsen in both halves.

During the second quarter, he visited the medical tent after dropping with a shoulder injury. He returned to action on the same drive. In the fourth quarter, he seemed to roll an ankle. After being examined, he tried to re-enter the game but was denied access. He entered the locker room with fewer than two minutes to play.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh stated Hamilton's injury wasn't serious. He also complimented him on his football acumen.

Baltimore's long-term success hinges on Hamilton being on the field. Something tells us that had the game been tighter or in doubt, he might have returned to action.

Baltimore's next game is against the Cincinnati Bengals. That one comes on Thanksgiving at 8:20 pm EST. Trust and believe that Hamilton's progress will be monitored until then.
