Well, that seemed more difficult than it needed to be. Can someone tell us why that was so hard? Oh yeah… That's right. It's that old 'On any given Sunday, any team can lose' thing. The New York Jets, as expected, gave the Baltimore Ravens their best shot. Thankfully, the home team took control and survived what was a very stressful affair early.
With a win, the Ravens are now above .500 with a 6-5 record for the first time this season. The Pittsburgh Steelers share the same mark after their loss in the Windy City to the Chicago Bears.

The 'good' from the Ravens' win over the NY Jets
Derrick Henry continues to climb the ladder of history. He passed Marcus Allen, Edgerrin James, and Marshall Faulk on the all-time leading rushers list.
Mark Andrews caught two passes. Three more will place him ahead of Derrick Mason and give him the franchise record for receptions. He has already taken the receiving yards record from Mason.
The bad from Baltimore's win
Kyle Hamilton left this one with an injury... twice. He hurt his shoulder in the second quarter. Then, he left the game after rolling his ankle in the fourth.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh stated in a postgame press conference that the injury isn't serious and isn't expected to linger.
The ugly
The Ravens' offense again looked sloppy at times. They carved out 72 yards of offense during the first half in Week 12... 72 yards of offense! This isn't a New York Jets team featuring Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams. It's hard to explain the slow starts or the prolonged offensive droughts.
They beat the Cleveland Browns and Jets in consecutive weeks despite some slow starts. They'll need a more spirited effort offensively in Week 13.

The Ravens and Bengals meet on Thanksgiving. Kickoff is at 8:20 pm EST.
